Restauracja Umami to miejsce, gdzie sztuka kulinarna łączy się z głębią smaku. Inspirowana jednym z pięciu podstawowych smaków, odkrytym przez Kikunae Ikedę – profesora chemii na Uniwersytecie w Tokio, oferuje dania, które wyróżniają się pełnią i esencjonalnością. Nazwa restauracji nawiązuje do wyjątkowego smaku, który Ikeda nazwał „umami” – wyrazem harmonii smaków, obecnym w takich składnikach jak grzyby, sery, pomidory, ryby i różnorodne mięsa.
W Umami każdy posiłek to wyjątkowe doświadczenie kulinarne. Dzięki starannie dobranym procesom gotowania, fermentacji i dojrzewania, potrawy zyskują intensywność smaku, która wypełnia każde podniebienie. Delikatny, wielowymiarowy charakter dań w Umami nie tylko doskonale współgra z innymi smakami, ale także je podkreśla, pozostawiając długotrwałe, satysfakcjonujące wrażenie.

Umami Restaurant needed professional branding materials, such as jar labels and a beverage menu, to emphasize the uniqueness of its offer and strengthen its visual identification. It wanted to convey the depth of flavor and essence of its dishes, inspired by the concept of "umami". It lacked coherent and attractive materials that would reflect the unique character of the restaurant and attract guests looking for exceptional culinary experiences.

Case description:
A well-executed project is the sum of many components, such as communication with the client, properly prepared materials, specific project guidelines and interaction with the problem being solved.
I have prepared jar label designs and beverage menus for the Umami restaurant. In the designs, I focused on emphasizing the depth of flavor and harmony that are the essence of Umami cuisine. I used elegant graphic elements and subtle colors to reflect the exclusive nature of the place. I designed the jar labels so that the restaurant's products would stand out from the competition and encourage purchase. The beverage menu was developed in a legible and aesthetic way, emphasizing the unique flavor compositions offered by Umami. Thanks to these materials, the restaurant can more effectively communicate its values and attract customers who value exceptional culinary experiences.
